Recapping 1UP’s Second Night At McMahon 🏟️
On Thursday, July 10th, 1UP Soccer had our second night of sessions at Calgary’s most historic sports venues, McMahon Stadium!
Starting our sessions at 5:30, 1UP tackled McMahon for three hours. Our Grassroots Skills Program was buzzing in the first two hours and our 1UP U20 women’s, U20 men’s and 1UP United training shined in the later hours.
Keegan Biggs, 1UP’s Director of Football operations commented on how important it was to secure McMahon for a second night and talked about what’s to come 👀
“I thought the second night at McMahon was even better than the first!” Biggs said.
“We were more efficient as a staff setting up inside the stadium since we were familiar with the venue,” he added.
“Thursday night gave our grassroots players, parents, and U20 men’s and women’s team members who missed the first night at McMahon a chance to experience what a first-class venue it truly is.”
“We’ll see you on Thursday, July 17th for the third round of 1UP sessions at McMahon Stadium!” Biggs said.
Our 1UP social media team was out and about taking pictures and videos for the 1UP socials all throughout the past two sessions at McMahon!
