We are thrilled to announce our home field for the rest of the outdoor season! After some consulting with the 1UP staff and the City of Calgary, 1UP is moving to a new location for the remaining outdoor season!

Our 1UP Outdoor Summer Camp is designed to keep young players progressing during the summer break, reinforcing the development made during their outdoor season.

On Thursday, July 10th, 1UP Soccer had our second night of sessions at Calgary’s most historic sports venues, McMahon Stadium!

Our 1UP United men’s team is at the TOP of the CUSA Premier League Division with 27 points from 11 games which includes, eight wins, three draws, 0 losses and a +17 goal difference!

1UP Fam, following up on our player profile of former 1UP academy player and current CF Montreal midfielder Victor Loturi, history was made last week as he was the first 1UP academy baller to play against Lionel Messi, creating the first 1UP x Messi connection!

Join us for the 3v3 Street Soccer Rooftop Showdown on Sunday, June 29th at High Park (340 10 Ave SW, Calgary) for an adrenaline-pumping tournament in support of 1Up Soccer and KidSport!

Without a doubt, Anna Hauer will go down as one of — if not the — best female footballers to come out of Calgary.

Starting her youth career through the Calgary Foothills pathway, Hauer also spent time with the Vancouver Whitecaps Girls Elite REX Program, in addition to training in 1UP’s small group sessions alongside current teammate Nyema Ingleton.

“As a young player, I was full of energy and super competitive,” Hauer said, reflecting on her youth career.

“I always wanted to be on the ball, and I wasn’t afraid to take risks. I loved taking players on 1v1 and looking for ways to score or assist.”

We have been waiting for this baller's return for a while! Former Vancouver Whitecaps, KAA Gent (Belgium), Crewe Alexandra (England) and current UofC Dinos Striker is now apart of the 1UP Team. The 1UP Fam is lucky to have this one on the team!

Here’s what Kimia had to say about joining the 1UP staff…

“Hey guys! I’m so happy with how my first couple of weeks have gone at 1UP. Everyone’s been really welcoming and helpful in getting me started,” Kimia said.

“It’s been super fun getting to know the players and helping them improve their games and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for 1UP!”
