Bio

McKenzie has been playing soccer since the age of 8 years old. She has played at premier level throughout her career. She has won several provincial championships and won the gold title with her team in a Nation's Cup. McKenzie received a couple scholarships in university, although her passion for teaching and growing in other areas of her life took a focus. In this time, she completed two degrees and had found a passion for working with children with disabilities. McKenzie never stopped playing soccer but has continued to play at a premier level on a Calgary Women’s team. She brings her wisdom, strategies, and tools from her educational background to support and meet players where they are at. McKenzie has a unique ability to blend her knowledge of the game and her physical literacy education to improve young players’ gross motor skills in fun and inclusive ways.
