Registration is available for 2021-2017 players looking to have fun, enjoy, play lots of games while getting an early start on important basics!
No parent coaches - 1UP Grassroots is led by qualified, fun coaches, assisted by former 1UP players who are now successful players!
Training Menu
All sessions are carefully designed by head coach & founder Graham Fisher and our director of of Player Development, Niko Myroniuk, current pro at Cavalry FC. Our sessions consist consists of all important player habits needed to excel and improve in today's modern game within GAME REALISTIC training activities. Graham blends his 7 years of youth & professional experience in Germany, Ireland, Spain & England, with his 3 National Coaching licenses to bring the players and coaching staff a second to none training environment.
Cancellation Policy
1UP Soccer does not offer cancellations. In Lieu of a cancellation, 1UP will offer player a rescheduled session. To qualify for the ‘reschedule session’, we must receive your reschedule request 48 hours prior to your conflicted session. To reschedule, simply click the button below

1UP’s first priority is always player safety. Please see below for a full breakdown of 1UP’s inclement weather policy and all safety measures in place to ensure a positive training environment!
Player Groupings
Our groupings will be decided on field by our experienced Grassroots Staff. Players will be grouped by skill and age at the discretion of the staff. Please bare with us as we get to know your players we will alter groupings accordingly to ensure all players enjoy their session! Our goal is to ensure each player receives the correct amount of challenge each time they attend one of our sessions.
What To Bring
1UP Training Shirt or Jersey
Socks & Shorts: We ask that player wear black shorts and white socks
Soccer Boots (If you don’t have, runners are ok)
Shinpads
No Ball: Balls will be supplied, no need to bring your own
Plenty of water
No clubwear please
Apparel
All apparel orders from registration are packed and ready for the first session. Although, unfortunately some orders may be delayed due to supply chain issues from our supplier. We will deliver all backorders as soon as they arrive. All items received will be added to the month end invoice. Any ordered items not received will NOT be added to the month end invoice but will be added in the month the order arrives.
Training Objectives
To use game realistic training to improve each individual to become more game effective.
To gauge each player’s weaknesses and strengths and improve both;
Using Question & Answer and Guided Discovery coaching methodology to accelerate player’s problem solving skills and creativity;
To grow each player’s confidence (confidence stems from preparation!).
Grow a love of the game! With young players we want to ensure they are having fun and falling in love with the game.
To Provide players with important social skills and an environment to be active around their peers!
Medical Information
Our player's safety is our first priority. Please read the below carefully:
If there are any medical concerns or injuries that you wish to highlight, please inform us via email prior to the session and we will add it to our records and make sure the coaches on site are aware.
If there are any last minute medical concerns or injuries that you wish to highlight, please make sure you inform your coach before the session
Please ensure that your player packs all proper medication necessary. (Inhaler, EpiPen, etc.)
