Program Exclusion Dates:

  • May 17th - May 19th (May long)

  • June 28th - July 1st (July Long)

  • August 25th - August 28th (Summer Camp - Advanced Skills Camp)

  • August 29th - September 1st (Labour Day Long Weekend)

  • October 12th - October 13th (Fall Camp - Attackers vs Defenders)

Coaching Staff

    6 years of professional experience in Germany, Ireland and Spain. Canada Soccer B licence, Alberta Soccer Award of Merit.

    Current Pro with Cavalry FC.

    Trialist, Seattle Sounders. University of New Brunswick (U-Sports)

  • Will Fiore

    La Sorta Calcio U12, S.S. Lazio Academy U14, Team Alberta U18 Provincial Team, Team Canada U17 National Team, University of Dinos Varsity Team.

Payment Information

Rates

U20 Session - $27.50/session per player

Payment Method & Process

Starting this outdoor season, we are excited to announce that all U20 payments will now be made via Credit Card. Even better news,still no upfront fee.

  1. Upon registering, use your credit card towards a $1 registration fee.

  2. 48 hours prior to your session start time, your credit card will be automatically debited $27.50 for that session, plus any pre-ordered 1UP apparel. For you returning 1UPpers, this means no month-end invoices, e-transfers or PAD, you will simply be sent a weekly receipt after each transaction.

  3. Should an unforeseen circumstance occur within 48 hours of your session start time (inclement weather, field closure, air quality, or injury) 1UP will offer you a make-up session or credit towards another 1UP program.

  4. 1UP Soccer does not offer cancellations.

Training Menu

All sessions are carefully designed by head coach & founder Graham Fisher which consists of all important player habits needed to excel and improve in today's modern game within GAME REALISTIC training activities. Graham blends his 7 years of youth & professional experience in Germany, Ireland, Spain & England, with his 3 National Coaching licenses to bring the players and coaching staff a second to none training environment.

Weekly Session Emails

Each week, as an introduction to the new training topic, an email will be sent out to all parents and players of this program. The videos sent out will be discussing the weekly topic and providing examples from professional game scenarios in order for players to see the techniques they will be executing in training. This learning process is similar to professional academies in Europe and other parts of the world.

Player I.P.T. Forms

Players participating in this program will receive I.P.T. Forms from 1UP staff coaches once monthly to help aid them in their development. Guest coaches and coaches watching these sessions will also have input into player’s I.P.T. forms. Below is a copy of 1UP’s U20 I.P.T. Form that will be provided to players:

What To Bring

  • 1UP Training Shirt or Jersey

  • Socks & Shorts: We ask that players wear black shorts and white socks

  • Outdoor Soccer Boots

  • Shinpads

  • No Ball: Balls will be supplied, no need to bring your own

  • Plenty of water

  • No clubwear please

    Please note that we will be holding U20 participants to a higher standard. If you show up in improper training equipment coaches are welcome to hand out punishments!

Apparel

All apparel orders from registration are packed and ready for the first session. Although, unfortunately some orders may be delayed due to supply chain issues from our supplier. We will deliver all backorders as soon as they arrive. All items received will be added to the month end invoice. Any ordered items not received will NOT be added to the month end invoice but will be added in the month the order arrives.

Training Objectives

To use game realistic training to improve each individual to become more game effective.

  • To gauge each player’s weaknesses and strengths and improve both;

  • Using Question & Answer and Guided Discovery coaching methodology to accelerate player’s problem solving skills and creativity;

  • To grow each player’s confidence (confidence stems from preparation!).

Medical Information

Our player's safety is our first priority. Please read the below carefully:

  • If there are any medical concerns or injuries that you wish to highlight, please inform us via email prior to the session and we will add it to our records and make sure the coaches on site are aware.

  • If there are any last minute medical concerns or injuries that you wish to highlight, please make sure you inform your coach before the session

  • Please ensure that your player packs all proper medication necessary. (Inhaler, EpiPen, etc.)
