You may recognize coach Anthony from his roles as the 1UP Grassroots Coordinator and paid advanced staff coach.
Here’s what Anthony had to say about taking over the junior coaching program and what to expect as the new director…
“Taking over one of the junior coach program is something I’m excited for. This program helps players take that next step into their soccer journey, and the success we’ve had through it shows in our staffing, 14 of our current staff members have previously been a junior coach, which shows the success and the value this amazing program has for us at 1UP,” he said.
“We want to challenge them further to play a bigger role in our sessions, set them targets to achieve as they go through the process, and provide them valuable feedback to improve them as a coach.”

Volunteer and give back to younger players – plus, earn service hours! (Many junior high and high schools require 10-14 service hours per semester – this is a fun way to get them done!)
