1UP’s director of football operations Keegan Biggs commented on the camp and what it means to run and direct a camp in a new city for 1UP:

“Launching a camp in a brand-new city has been unreal—exciting, challenging, and so rewarding,” Biggs said.

“Expanding outside of the province for the first time has brought new obstacles like insurance, transportation, and plenty of operational pieces to figure out, but I’ve been blown away by the professionalism and effort our team has put in to make it happen.”

“Expanding to a new city has been a vision of mine since stepping into this role over a year ago, and it’s amazing to see it becoming a reality,” Biggs said.

“After connecting with families in Vernon and the surrounding area, I truly believe we’re going to make a big impact and help grow a love for the game in a brand-new community.”

“This is a huge step for 1UP and an exciting new challenge on the backend—I can’t wait to see it all come together,” Biggs added.
