Former 1UP Player selected for CANADA National Team 🇨🇦

On the back of his incredible form in 2026, former 1UP academy player and current Plymouth Arglye striker Aribim Pepple has earned a call up to Canada’s first team for the latest international matches!
Pepple has been on a tear in 2026, putting up the highest combined goals and assists of ANY Canadian currently playing in Europe in 2026 and was recently voted Plymouth Argyle’s player of the month for February!
Pepple trains with 1UP’s founder Graham Fisher in the summer during his offseason. Here’s what Pepple had to say about what it means for him to be called up to the Canada first team:
“I called my parents right away and then got really excited,” Pepple said.
The former Cavalry striker also commented on what the small technical details mean to him, something 1UP prides itself on,
“Those technical details become your base you rely the higher up you go,” he said. “It’s important to make sure you keep sharpening those tools, so under pressure they won’t fail you.”
Pepple credits the 1UP motto to his success: ENJOY THE PROCESS
“I’ve just trusted the same processes I’ve always done and knew that eventually my rewards would come. It’s important that during tough times you keep doing what has got you success before, as eventually it’ll come good,” he said”
Canada’s freindlies will come against Iceland on Saturday, March 28 at 11:00 a.m. and Tunisia on Tuesday, March 31 at 5:30 p.m. Both games will take place at BMO Field in Toronto.

1UP United’s Perfect Season
Our 6v6 squad was back in action this week!
6v6:
This week, the 1UP Untied 6v6 squad faced off against Titans FC on Saturday, March 21 in their final game of the indoor season.
Our 1UP United squad took a 14-4 win with Maksym Chykhovych scoring an outstanding seven goals along with Donre Bailey, Anthony Garmory and Moe Anaam scoring two and Isaiah Alihai scoring one goal.
Congrats to the 1UP United men’s team on an undefeated 16-0 indoor season! Next for the men’s team is an outdoor season in the Premier Division where 1UP United looks to top the league!
