Mini 1uppers are Underway 📈
“The first session was better than we could have imagined!”
“Our mini 1uppers were moving around engaging with the activities with massive smiles on their faces,” said Anthony Garmory, 1UP’s Director of Grassroots and founder of mini 1uppers.
On Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1UP Soccer held our first official Mini 1uppers session at Seven Chiefs Sportsplex from 4:30-5:15 p.m.The first day was a massive success with 10+ players and over 20 parents present at the session.
Garmory also commented on the parents enjoyment, highlighting the safety and welcomeness the 1UP coaching provided:
“Through conversations with parents and just watching on throughout the session, you could see they were happy with what we are offering in the program.”
“The safe, friendly and engaging environment we are creating at Mini 1uppers is a dream for any parent looking to begin their child’s soccer journey,” Garmory said
“It’s a sign of big things for the program!”
The next Mini 1uppers session takes place on Wednesday Feb. 25 from 4:30-5:15 p.m. at Seven Chiefs Sportsplex!

Shift weight towards defender (Low hips)
Create maximum seperation (side on body shape, ball far away, arm up!)
